Hard- and Software-Development

Hardware:

  • Not only all analog electronics for the LF and HF range of the RFID technology are developed by the scemtec engineers in their well equipped laboratories in Wehnrath but also all antenna systems, in compliance with the approval-relevant regulations for radio systems.

Software:

  • Scemtec has not only a strong team of hardware designers but also an efficient software development department where PC software for data base systems is developed as well as custom-tailored Windows software for RFID project developments. Development works also include the firmware for micro controllers, starting from the tiny 8 bit microprocessor up to the digital signal processor.

Development of EEX-Readers

Another specialist field is the development of RFID readers to be used in explosion-hazardous areas, evidencing once more scemtec’s comprehensive knowledge of RFID and the development and manufacture of electronic systems.

Within this special field scemtec provides system solutions such as the customer specific data base software for the tracking and data capturing of gas cylinder movements.
