The new 13.56 MHz Mid-Range Reader/Writer SIR-2710 (ISO/IEC 15693-2
und ISO18000-3) is a milestone in the family of scemtec readers. Special attention has been paid to a favourable
price/performance relationship, apart from the excellent technical
data. A multi-tag system for the ISO15693-2 / 18000-3 Transponder is
concealed in a stable aluminium housing (185 x 130 x 44 mm).
The
device has an RF transmission performance of a maximum of 1.4 watts
that can be set by software. The reading range is up to 700
mm for an ISO cheque card transponder, in case of the connection
of an external scemtec aerial.
The data is transmitted via RS232 (115.2 kBaud), USB (full speed
2.0) or Ethernet. Anti-collision and EAS protection against theft
(depending on tag Type) are standard. Binary inputs and outputs
are available for customer-specific tasks. A variant with a 4-fold
multiplexer for connection of several aerials can be supplied as
an option.
