It was the fact that transponders are subject to process tolerances that made scemtec develop measuring systems to check the quality of transponders. With these so-called full parameter testers (Type STM1001) the transponders can be measured and qualified. For the calibration of these systems the engineers of scemtec also developed a calibration standard which has been measured by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) (Federal Physical and Technical Institute) of Braunschweig.
As the STM-1 series is already used throughout the world , an international service and support network is provided by scemtec , the only manufacturer world-wide who offers such systems on the OEM market
Scemtec develops STM-1 systems and customer specific GO/NONGO testers besides for the automobile industry.
Wherever transponders have to perform under extreme conditions or production and processing is on a large scale, the scemtec transponder test systems will find their application.
